Who we are

We are Frances and Ki, two friends from the South who share a love of ultra running, traveling and adventure planning.

One night, while enjoying a few cocktails, Ki was lamenting about her desire to run the UTMB race, when Frances, in all of her wisdom, said the words that would change it all, “Why don’t we just go and run it ourselves?”

Who knew that you could actually run around the mountains of Mont Blanc, while enjoying the views and staying in some excellent accommodations? Frances. She knew and had the entire trip planned within a week.

So we traveled to Chamonix with some of our friends and embarked on an amazing adventure, one filled with breathtaking views, snow capped mountains and challenging but rewarding climbs.

As we shared pictures and reels from our adventures around the mountain, others began to ask how they could do something similar and the idea for Bougie Dirtbaggers was born.

Our goal is to share the joys of adventure traveling with as many people as possible. We want to take the stress and confusion out of the planning and logistics and make adventure traveling accessible to all.
